Maggie (Vandenberg) Green grew up in Mid Coast Maine. After high school, she attended the University of Maine at Orono, where she earned a degree in Animal Science. During undergrad, she ran on both Division I cross country and track teams. After
graduating from UMO, she worked in Boston, Massachusetts at Harvard Medical School in a neurobiology and cellular biology laboratory.
In 2002, she was accepted into the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island. After graduation from veterinary school in 2006, she spent one year in a small animal internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. It was during her internship that she became interested in veterinary neurology. She completed her residency in Neurology at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Maitland, Florida. After her residency, Dr. Green moved to New Hampshire to establish and direct a neurology service in southern New Hampshire. Dr. Green has practiced neurology in Colorado for the last 6 years. In 2019 she will be moving back to Maine. She is excited become a part of Maine Veterinary Medical Center Neurology team.

Dr. Green’s professional interests include intervertebral disc disease, epilepsy management, and inflammatory neurologic conditions. In her down time you can find her outside hiking or running with her family. She loves kayaking, SUP, and spending time on the ocean.
