DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)
Dr. de Papp grew up in western New York but has felt like New England was home since spending many summers horseback riding in Vermont and NH, and attending Dartmouth College. She earned her DVM from Cornell University and completed an internship and internal medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She received board certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 1999. She spent two years as a clinical instructor at Penn and then moved to Boston, where she was on staff as an internist at the Angell Animal Medical Center for twenty years. As a lover of nature, she was eager to move to the Portland area to continue her career while being closer to the great outdoors and all the opportunities that this region has to offer.
Her professional interests include hepatology, gastroenterology, nephrology, immune-mediated disease, endoscopy and laparoscopy, to name a few.
In her spare time she enjoys biking, skiing, and hiking with her husband and two dogs. She also has an extensive background in enology and is working on her next certification.
