Benjamin was born and raised in northern California with a Springer Spaniel for a babysitter. He then moved to the north shore of Massachusetts for high school and received a bachelor of science in Neuroscience from Boston College. Benjamin worked as a behavior analyst and researcher into Autism Spectrum Disorder at the UC Davis Mind Institute in Sacramento, California. He then worked as a pediatric neurology researcher at Mass General Hospital. Benjamin attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Kitts and completed his clinical rotations at Cornell University. His areas of special interest are neurology, soft tissue surgery and radiology. Benjamin lives in the Boothbay region with his hound dog ‘Oak’, an orange tabby cat named ‘Buju’ and a calico cat named ‘Hella’. He spends his days off fishing, gardening, hiking with his cats, and tending to his chickens and honeybees.
